to book services that covers all aspects of containers.
How do you provide container services to customers across globe with diverse geographical and linguistic constraints?
Star Container is a multilingual platform that allows users to book services of all kinds for their empty containers.
We conducted field research, interviewed key stakeholders to gain understanding of Depots, how they function what are the services provided and the geo locations they operate.
"We have to call the depot every time we need services and wait for the open slot" - Adam smith
"Sometimes we miss on deadlines because we have gaps in current manually managed system. Language is a barrier" - Holly
From conclusions of the interviews of stakeholders, there is a requirement of a web application which allows users to book services, connect with depot and use the platform in different languages based on users choice. Which leads to the question...
Build a web application which will serve stakeholders and other end users to book services in the language they prefer?
After establishing my task flow, I started sketching some ideation sketches of what the application could look like when translated digitally. I made multiple versions, shown below is the chosen sketch that I based my wireframes on.
I then translated my chosen sketch into my first set of low fidelity digital wireframes and conducted my first round of usability testing to test the flow of the app and catch any issues early on.
I really enjoyed this project. I learned how crucial it is to go into the research phase with no biases and no solution in mind. The interviews and secondary research will likely provide insights that were not apparent before, and that is what the solution should be based on.
I have also learned that it is critical to experiment early on, especially during the sketching process, because as you progress in the project, it becomes increasingly more difficult to make changes.

To distinct the Coffee King from the competition I added new colors and created a unique look.
Early designs allowed for some customisation,
but after the usability studies, I added additional options to cancel after order is placed. I also added coupons button for the app.
After second round of usability studies, I added option to connect with customer support executive.
This project was exciting to work on. I successfully addressed the user's needs by implementing a user-friendly interface through an iterative design process that prioritised user feedback, The challenges faced, such as navigation, contact us & coupon were valuable learning experiences that informed our decisions and enhanced the overall project.
